Two sides of a Coin

Posted by Ramya Shankar on Saturday, September 16, 2006
She said,

I asked, you gave
I misunderstood
I did not listen, I heard
I lacked analysis
I was selfish
I became someone else
I ignored you
I blame myself

I underestimated us
I lost you
I lost my identity

He said,

You asked, I gave
I explained
I spoke
I judged
I was selfless
I searched your soul
You were gone
There is none to blame
I expected more
I sacrificed
I transform

sometime u should write abt ' the other side of the coin'

I said, he heard
I explained, he judged
I pleaded, he remained indiferent
I gave up, he found joy

hahaha.. this was too extreme but thought shd drop it in anyway!! :))

p.s: me no feminist ya'll!!! :))

Sometimes, the very fact of admitting and gettin rid og ego can solve a million problems and stick broken hearts together... :)

Kausik,
Oh yes ! For a change! :D

Karthik B.S
Thanks :)

S0ulasylum,
Oh! Brilliant! Me neither, that's why this post is the OTHER side of the coin!!
U have a gr8 weekend too!

Boss,
tch tch ! This was simply another side of an argument !! Let's goad their ego for a while ! :D

Sagaro,

Known Stranger,
Biased, did u even read the title of the post????

Prithz,
Enaku enna, nalla thaane iruken!
And yes, acceptance of a mistake can do wonders

yes for a change the the mistake is borne by the girl..

and so the moral of the story is?

Nicely said.. in real life the coin can spin either ways as "he" or "she" and is very relative.. :-)

BTW, nice to meet you, fellow-sagi :-)

thank you for not being all girly purly and siding with us.
not kidding, that was a heart felt thank you!

LOL @s0ulasylum's comment!

Well not all girls r like that and not all boys r like that too :)

But nice one...

Keshi.

Oh well, to look at the brighter side, they'd have saved a lot on their phone bills if they'd talked like this always :)

Kiki,
Oh yes, not always, just this once!

R.S
Perceptions differ as always! No moral intended !

Venkatesh,
Exactly ! Its 2 different sides of an argument between 2 ppl

KK,
Well thanks ! :)

Priya,
Glad to meet u too! :) And thanks ofc

Zii
You are most welcome :D

Keshi,
Oh yes. But as I said earlier, its the way a single argument is presumed by 2 people and the misunderstanding leads to their seperation

Harish,
Oh true, being the optimist, should consider that too! :D

mmmm..

thats one hell of a post.... and that too a different point of view....

awesooommmeeee is the word
