Decide- right here right now !

Posted by Ramya Shankar on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in , , ,
Is making decisions always this complicated ?
What would you choose if you had to pick one out of the many - Something that you love or something that comes easily ? As cryptic as it might sound, or as it was intended to be; picking one out of the many options is definitely not my forte. Given to my choice, I'd take a bit of everything. :D
But at some point, my whims take over and those decisions are some of the most worst I have ever made. I most certainly do not regret, for I have learnt the best out of them. However contradicting that might sound, I will always stand by my decisions and speak for them.
Of lately, I've become a strong believer in the quote that says -
"Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen."
Nothing of the sort has happened, but if it does, you'll find a happier woman in the world, if not, there will be a post following that would claim the above as rubbish !

or something like that.

So, rest assured. Everything will be ok.

Cute one though...:)

often times we decide choose which make atleast compromise (no-changes-to-status-co).

if possible read this
Paradox of choice: why more is less
..very interesting and you might like this. if no time to read - select & watch the video presentation.

THe whole world might conspire .. But the problem is there is a lil bit of negativity in your thought process. You always think what if your decision is wrong. It remains there in your sub-conscience. That is what leads to the failure. The universe conspires no more.

a cute post, but over-head-transmission wonly!!! onnum purila!! :P

no.. kidding! :D

"Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen."

Hi! I was a blog-hopping spree and that's when I landed here. Glad I did, in fact!

I had an entire chapter on decision-making in my post-graduation which I eventually 'decided' to dump for my finals! ;) Repercussions? I came out unscathed! :)

I follow my lecturer's li'l advice-
Take a decision and sleep over it. When you get up in the morn, if you feel:
a. The same way about the decision - then go ahead!
b. DumB (for even conceiving such an idea)- Change the plan! ASAP!
c. Confused, still - Weigh the pros and cons and zero-in on one. Form a tunnel between Plan A and B. When Plan A back-fires, wriggle your way out to Plan B!

Looks wonderful on paper, I know! :)

Since we ain't future-seers, let's take decisions, burn our fingers if incorrect and emerge from the ashes! Afterall, like the statement so often quoted and murdered, making a mistake is not a mistake; not learning from it, is!

*Cheers*
