Yeah ppl.. Another template change.! Now this one has a proper reason... or atleast I try my best to justify it.Reason no.1 - It reflects my current state of mind i.e before the exams. (White and blank)Reason no.2 - As I turn into a major in another 12 days...((Dont hunt for the calender its Dec 8)) I thought my blog must try to look a bit more mature... Reason no.3 - Words will add color to my template... Reason no.4 - Alright.......I was bored ! Thought of playing around with some other template. I seem to be giving a slight complex to the chameleons.I better get back to my book now.... now this didnt take long... (sigh)!updated on 29th Nov 2005I go for my 1st semester exam tomorrow... wish me luck fellas!!! And I need special prayers for E.D on 3rd December!! Please!

On an exceptionally pleasant afternoon,in the comforts of his room, Chimanlal Charlie sat down to think of his life. Of his aged mother who refused to wear anything short than a mini skirt, his father who loved to read Tinkle comics and of his brother who had married a cow.Chiman often thought that people looked at him wierdly. He never understood why anyone dressed in orange floral shirt, red pants, violet goggles and blue hair be considered abnormal. Its fashion right? Ah! How would these mere mortals know about fashion? He thought about Jalsa Mari - his girlfriend. Well not officially - because he had competition. And guess who it was? The handsome hunk Mufatchand Murari. Jalsa with her rainbow colored eyes, a hair color that changed according to her temper and a height that even gave Mr.Big B a great complex, was declared The Best Beggarwoman in the Jhumritalaiya township for her exciting new techiniques for begging. Now, you might ask such an appearance does sound a bit unfamiliar. Why wont it? Coz this is a historic love triangle in Neptune, something like Romeo & Juliet in our planet. Now who gets Jalsa's attention? Chiman or Mufat? Chiman is brought back to his senses by ----Who is next? Comment n continue it from where i left

Right! Enough of E.D .So here's an effort to cheer up my spirits and probably yours too....
There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be. That's when you have to reassure yourself that things will get better soon.
There will be times when people will disappoint you and let you down. But those are the times when you must learn to trust your own judgements and opinions.
There will be challenges to face and several changes to adapt to, and it is upto you to accept them.
Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction, for it may not be easy at times, but in those tough times of struggle, you'll find a stronger sense of who you are.
So, when the days come that are filled with frustration & unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all that you want your life to be.
Because challenges & changes will only help you find your goals that you know are meant to come true for you.
The higher the goal,The harder the climb. But taken each day one step at a time; The goal is accomplished. The dream is attained. And the prizes??The Wisdom and Strength that are gained.

Chennaites were only too happy to experience the sun after a long wait, and yeah, I found quite a number of blogs requesting the Sun to shine back. But then it didnt last long.... yeah Mr.Rain is back, lashing the city once again. And to top it all, I had my Model Exams. My college that was already half-submerged in the rains that struck a few days back, had just managed to float back to its surface. But now..... back to square one! The best part was on the day I had my E.D model exam.(going by the comments of the previous post, nobody seems to like it)6:40 amMy bus stop :Waiting for the bus in the rain, trying to juggle my umbrella.. a 5kg drawing board and ofc the drafter.9:30 amExamination Hall (E.D)After spending a worthless 20 minutes on how to change the given diagram to orthographic projection, I gave up all hopes of passing this exam. But then I managed to draw something, that made sense.10:00 amExamination hall (E.D)Alrite, I'm done with the exam. Got one whole hour left. What do I do?? As always I'm sent to the last bench to sit and well... do nothing and not disturb the others who were tugging their hair and "trying to" draw something! After staring at the head of the person before me for a good 10 mins, I got bored and tried looking out at the rain. My campus looked like an island from there. The next few mins were spent staring at the crows that came sopping wet and sat on the window ledge. The last 30 mins were no good either. I fell asleep on my drawing board and the invigilator woke me up and asked for my paper that hardly had anything. 11:40 amCorridorYaaaaaaaaayyy!! E.D exam is over and guess what, I dont think it was all that bad. Looks like my chances of passing are bright, but Mr.Rain doesnt seem to get tired at all. Take a break.. will ya??

My textbook which had a thick layer of dust on it until yesterday defines Engineering Drawing (E.D) as the medium of communication for engineers. 3 months back when I joined this stream, I sure did expect quite a few lifestyle changes. But then the moment this subject was introduced for my department in my university (only from my batch!!), things haven't been... Well.... very pleasant. This man who fits into my description of Humpty Dumpty, walked into my class 3 months back introducing himself as our E.D professor for this semester. Right from day 1, I didn't have quite an affinity towards the subject. Humpty Dumpty kept encouraging us to explore our creative sides in his class by asking us to draw a few shapes very confusingly put together to form something that quite represented modern art. He would ask us to draw something which I would do very sincerely, only to find the correct diagram drawn exactly upside down or tilted elsewhere in the book. Ugh! Talk about creativity!Anyways, I've managed to somehow scrape through my mid-semester, but then the big one (University exam) is fast approaching and only God can help me by making me understand these abstract diagrams in my textbook which would give M.F Hussain a run for his money.

Yaaaaayy!! The sun was out and shining bright after a whole week today. The rains kept me wondering as to what kind of reservoir God had up above there. Gosh...! The roads are totally water logged and in some areas where it managed to drain, the water seemed to have swept away the thin layer of the so called tar along with it that the corporation fellas kept re-laying one on top of the other. So all that remains on the roads now are big puddles of water with large potholes and man.. its like going on a bumpy ride in an amusement park. It leaves you shaken totally even after your feet are on steady ground. Bless our auto waalas, who, I dont know how though, manage to take you on those impossible to drive roads,.. trying to avoid one pothole only to land up in a bigger one. Oh my.. I'm not even done with this post, and the sun has already gone elsewhere and are those raindrops that I'm seeing from my window or is my neighbour's shower leaking?? Oh lord, looks like its going to be a long time to experience a proper madrasi sunny day.No cribbing!! Am having fun sitting at home and having my exams postponed. But not for long!

Somebody asked me to list down a couple of simple things that brought joy into my life -:So here goes....1. Sitting by the window, listening to the rain go pitter patter....2. To hold the hand of a loved one and go for a stroll...3. To realise that your old pair of jeans fit you back...4. A nice emotional conversation...5. Laughing heartily...6. Waking up before your alarm goes off...7. Switching on the radio to find your favorite song being played...8. Getting a message from an old friend after a long time...9. To realise that someone in the world is thinking about you...And I tag everyone who reads this post
